NEW ENTRY PROCEDURE AT SINT MAARTEN PRINCESS JULIANA INT. AIRPORT

EFFECTIVE Friday, October 18th, 2024

The St. Maarten Tourism Bureau, in collaboration with Local Authorities, has introduced a new Digital Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) Card.

From Friday October 18th, 2024, all visitors to St. Maarten are required to complete this form online via the official website www.entry.sx.

Local authorities are collaborating to provide travelers with safe and smooth experience. For additional details, you can also visit www.vacationstmaarten.com or www.sxmentry.com.

 

FAQ: Digital Embarkation/Disembarkation Card (ED Card)

1. Is the Digital ED Card mandatory?
Yes, all passengers arriving in or departing from St. Maarten Princess Juliana Int. Airport are required to complete online the ED Card in accordance with Local Admission Decree.

2. Who needs to complete the ED card?
All travelers visiting, transferring through, or residing in St. Maarten must complete the form. Each traveler, even those in groups, must submit their own form.

3. Why do I need to complete the ED card?
The digital form simplifies the entry process, making it faster and more efficient. It enhances safety and helps Immigration and Border Protection process passengers more quickly and securely.

4. What do I need to complete the form?
You will need:

·       A valid travel document

·       Contact information

·       Flight details and accommodation information

5. When can I fill out the form?
The form can be completed online at www.entry.sx starting 7 days before your travel date.

Note: The website will be effective upon the opening of the new arrival hall on October 18th, 2024.
